2010 Sangiovese (Texas High Plains)

Product Description

The grapes for this Sangiovese were grown in Newsom Vineyards in the Texas High Plains.  Aged for 6 months in French oak, this lovely wine is characterized by light, red berry fruits with subtle oak on the nose. Strawberry and cranberry fruits are well in evidence on the medium bodied palate, with nuances of leather following closely behind.
